Replacement project, practice closure or site shutdown: we assess your equipment, deinstall it professionally, erase the patient data and take the system away. In many cases we buy it rather than invoicing you for the removal.

Four steps from site to proof
The order is binding — data erasure in particular happens before transport, not after.
Submit a list
Manufacturer, model, year and room situation. Photos of the rating plate are enough for a first assessment.
Assessment & quote
We assess the equipment and state a purchase price or removal cost — including collection, no surcharges.
On-site data erasure
Patient data is erased on all media before the system leaves the site. With a certificate.
Removal & transport
Deinstallation by our own engineers, professional packing, transport and disposal certificate.
Why the building contractor doesn't do this
An MRI is not a piece of furniture.
Removing imaging systems isn't just about weight and structural load. The magnet carries cryogens, the tube scatter-radiation requirements, the consoles patient data. Handle one of them wrong and a disposal becomes an incident.
Our engineers come from field service on exactly these systems. They know which assemblies still have value as spare parts — which feeds directly into the purchase price.

Equipment purchase
Your old system is worth more than you think.
Even defective systems are rarely worthless. Tubes with remaining life, coils, boards and slip rings go into our spare-parts stock and keep a system running elsewhere. That's why we also buy job lots, individual assemblies and complete stock.
The purchase price often covers the removal in full.

About removal
What does removal cost?
It depends on the system, accessibility and site. For usable systems we offset the purchase price against the removal cost — often leaving you with proceeds rather than an invoice.
How long does a deinstallation take?
A CT is usually removed in one to two days; an MRI takes longer depending on cryogenics and craning. We give the concrete schedule after the site survey.
Who is liable for patient data?
Erasure happens before transport and is documented. You receive the erasure certificate for your records. Data-protection responsibility remains with the facility — which is why we document every step traceably.
Does the magnet have to be ramped down?
Yes — the field is ramped down for transport. With cold transport the magnet stays at temperature, so the re-cooldown and later helium refill are avoided — see Zero-Boil-Off Transport.
